Terms of Service

1. The Service

BlockMindset provides structured educational content about blockchain, cryptography, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and related security topics, along with quizzes, progress tracking, achievements, and completion certificates. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use.

2. Accounts

To save progress, take quizzes, or earn certificates you must sign in. We currently support Google Sign-In through Supabase Auth. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you sign in with and for any activity under your BlockMindset account.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, our infrastructure, or any data not intended for you.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or networks connected to it (including automated scraping, traffic flooding, or denial-of-service activity).
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute substantial portions of our content, quizzes, or certificate templates without permission.
• Use the Service to harass other users, transmit malware, or engage in any abusive or illegal activity.

4. Content and intellectual property

All lessons, exercises, quiz questions, illustrations, and certificate templates on BlockMindset are the property of BlockMindset or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own learning. You may not republish, resell, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

Code samples included for educational purposes may carry their own licenses; where they do, those licenses are noted alongside the sample.

5. Certificates

BlockMindset issues completion certificates for completed modules. Certificates attest that a user with your account completed the listed quizzes; they are not formal academic credentials and do not confer any professional certification. You may share your certificates publicly. We reserve the right to revoke a certificate that was issued in error or as a result of cheating or abuse.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what information we collect and how we use it.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing contact@blockmindset.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or use it in a way that exposes us or other users to legal or technical risk. We will give you notice where reasonable.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. BlockMindset content is educational and informational only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or security advice. Cryptocurrency and blockchain activity carries financial and security risk; you are solely responsible for your own decisions and any keys, wallets, or assets you manage.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlockMindset and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

10. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms over time. When we make a material change to these Terms we will update the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which BlockMindset operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
